Welcome to BTW-UK Area 51

Area 51 covers Chesterfield and Derbyshire although we have members coming from farther afield. We have regular monthly meetings every 2nd or 3rd Wednesday of the month at Whittington, Chesterfield. Non members are welcome but are asked to just observe, (and have a bevy) until the meeting is finished.

Each year Area51 members attend regular bike and trike rallies across the country. Aside from the rallies we also have a local Custom Show each year and parties at our local meeting place.

Each event we run raises money for one charity or another. In 2011 the main charity we donated to was the Derbyshire Air Ambulance. For the last few years we have been raising money for Derbyshire Air Ambulance as it is especially important to bikers and trikers. We also select local charities as well, these are decided during the year by local members.

Have you visited our Forum yet? A lot of us get on the main BTW-UK forum but ours is more local (Derbyshire/Yorkshire) although anyone can come in. You will need to register on the forum before you can join in but this should be quick and easy. Come on in and say hello BTW-Area51 Forum

New Site

Welcome to our new web site. The old site was only done as a temporary measure just to see what we could have. The purpose of the site is to introduce Area 51, BTW-UK and trikes to the greater public.

Have a look through the site and you should be able to find out more about us and what we are about. There is no big secret to find, we are all here just to have a bit of fun together and to help each other out when necessary.

We also have our own forum which is linked to this from this web site. Unfortunately you do now have to register to get on there due to the amount of spam we were getting. If you have been trying to register without success send your details to the web master link and we will sort it out. Alternatively if you know Pete or Spook let them know and they can contact me on your behalf.
